These solid oak table tops are handmade in our workshop in Scotland.

The oak table tops are made from solid American Oak, and used in businesses and homes  throughout the UK (as commercial oak table tops, oak cafe table tops, oak restaurant table tops, oak tops for standing desks, oak alcove tables, and wherever else you need a gorgeous solid oak table top). 

The table tops made from premium full stave oak, which basically means that they're made from full lengths of oak (as opposed to short sections of oak all glued together). 

The oak is grown in North American forests and is PEFC certified, which means it's sustainably sourced. It also means the table tops will last a very long time - solid oak is naturally very durable, and we coat the top with a commercial grade lacquer which makes it even more hardwearing and resistant to spills (and also makes it a delight to lovingly stroke).

We make the oak table tops to whatever size you need, protect them with a fabulous lacquer, and to top it off they come with stiffening braces for the underside - ready to use!

• Smooth and flat - no gaps between planks, no big cracks in which crumbs can collect, no ridges for you to snag your pen on when writing. 
• Protected - we use a premium sprayed lacquer on these oak table tops - resistant to staining and spills. It also gives them a fabulous sheen and feel.
• Solid oak (approximately 23 mm thick), sustainably sourced - PEFC certified American Oak (any knots are small, stable and won't fall out). 
• Kiln dried - low moisture, so the oak table tops won't crack in your home.
• Come with stiffening braces (these can be removed or re-located as required). 
• For indoor use only. 

For bespoke sizes: Choose the nearest size up from the size you want, and in the 'note to seller' box when you go to checkout type the size. So if you want 110 x 50 cm, select the 120 x 60 cm top and make a note.
